I did this exact gift for my bridal party when I got married last fall! I got married in Maine, so I wanted to get them something related to Maine, hence a gift from LL Bean! It was a big hit. Because I am not good at surprises and have decision-making anxiety, I picked the tote (neutral on neutral) and let them choose the monogram text and color - cool ranch (because Doritos was rejected), scatterday (inside joke about our favorite 80s cover band...), boy mom, cat lady, dog dad and, my personal favorite, vicious (I almost ordered viscous, which would have been awkward). Mine was neutral with hunter green straps, monogrammed with "anxious." I filled the monogrammed totes with a book and a pair of earrings that I personally picked for each of them, comfy pajamas, and other misc. Maine-themed and wedding weekend survival goodies.
I can vouch that Hillary knows what she’s doing in this department. I have had a gift from her on my desk every day for the past 8(??) years since receiving. Also j’adoreeeee a theme (and a grab bag) so really feelin this direction. 💌
