I read that article and the week before my husband watched a movie about Teflon and all of a sudden we were replacing half the stuff in our kitchen. πŸ˜† we have a small kitchen so keep a small collection of pots, pans and utensils, but we went full force with stainless steel and already had many wooden utensils. Still trying to perfect cooking on stainless steel, but we’re getting the hang of it.

Hillary- I have been following you since the first Target WWW days, eclipsed only by my love affair with Second Life as I was leaving my corp job to become a founder. Just love you, your tone, and your authenticity. Sometimes content creation can feel like shouting into the void, so I wanted you to know that you - and what you make - is a true delight. xx

ahhhhhhh this made my day. Thank you so much. And yeah, it feels a little wild to have this personal project, without the "cover" of a brand or publication, and sometimes I feel quite naked. So this is much appreciated.

It is rude of la coqueta to not make clothes for moms; I got my girl a dress from there and the quality and softness made me die, it was perfection!

As always, great recos! I can attest to the Quince pants. Just bought them and have been wearing them for a couple weeks. Excellent fit. If it helps anyone, I’m a size 10 and the large was perfect. And big thank you for the kitchen utensils reco. I have a couple black ones that now need replacement but I’ve been too lazy/busy/tired to do the research πŸ™πŸΌ

Best recs, as always. FYI those wide leg cuffs from Madewell are 10/10. Get complimented every single time I wear them.

Oh I'm so so so excited. I was nervous because I'm not that tall? But not nervous enough to not try! Wow that was a weird sentence but okay!

Earlywood utensils are THE best. The wooden spatula has so many uses and surprisingly the tasting spoon is one of the most used tools as well. However after poking around their website (i had bought ours at a great local kitchen boutique) i realize we are being very disrespectful to our tools by putting them in the dishwasher. I look forward to reminding my husband then next 30 times he loads the dishwasher that those are hand wash only. 😭

It's not easy, but if we're serious about getting rid of plastics, we need to eliminate polyesters from our wardrobes and home furnishings. Polyester sheds microplastics into the water and air with every wash. These microplastics are ingested by humans and animals, and are found all around the world. We can accomplish a great deal for our planet and ourselves by only purchasing items made from organic cottons, linens, silks and wools.

Not me copying every link and adding it all straight to my Christmas list! Especially loved so many items were under $100 which is the spend limit in our family Secret Santas! Added alllllll the kitchen utensils to my list!!!
