This is maybe a weird comment / question but I find your general presence so full and fun and meaning-oriented: you're talking about products and shopping but from here on earth, and with a bent towards the pleasureable. All of this makes me want to ask something about living in LA (it's personal, I moved back from NYC mid-pandemic and still find it hard). If you'd ever be open to writing about friends, colleagues, closeness, about car cities and little kids, about feeling part of communities and culture, I'd love to hear how you navigate this—and if the feeling here is "home," how did you arrive at it?
I’m dying over the doormat snafu 🤣 I actually pulled up last week’s newsletter just to see and have a chuckle coz was about to click on it last week but got distracted (as things go on a Sunday) so thanks for the correction. Phew haha. I wouldn’t have ordered those but might have scratched my head. Anyway I too love this Sunday read! Thanks for the tireless efforts. I often wonder how you get it done! PS I too use long flights to muse about it life. They are a special weird me-time bubble for a working Mom and planes make me emo cry in a good way as well. I relate x

I am very seriously considering the boots as I’ve been lining for a pair ever since my Fiorentini & Baker (remember how good they were?) died a worn into the ground death a few years ago and the company went out of business so I couldn’t replace them. Since you asked if there was anything in particular that we were looking for (and since everything I have bought that you recommend goes right to the top of my favorite wardrobe item list- I wore that sparkly JCrew skirt that we wore with a sweater last winter with a white tshirt all summer and got so many compliments!), I was hoping you could help me find a dark brown leather jacket? I prefer moto-esque styles and I’m willing to pay up if I really like it, it’s good quality and I will have it forever. Thank you as always!!!

BUT THAT'S NEITHER HERE NOR THERE. (Sorry, the coffee is hitting.) Okay, so this is just the classic/no color U Beauty Lip Plasma!
Would love your expert help finding for a threadbare, heather grey (I guess other colors are ok too), vintage-y feeling, crewneck tee. Either plain or with a vintage-looking print. Specific? Yes. And an item that's always on my mind :)
