I’d love a piece on COLOR at more accessible prices. JCrew has a ton of it right now, but some seems to read junior. Becky M. just did a piece in her fantastic newsletter, but I can’t quite bring myself to buy High Sport pants as a basic. (They are so good though.) I’d also love to see the new(ish) brands you think are great. There are so many! Ven Store, Favorite Daughter, Commission, oh my! Finally, I love your newsletter so much! It’s the first one I read on Substack (and that I actually read, rather than just skim for photos). I love your high-low approach and you seem cool as hell!
Totally hear you on color; it can be incredible or very very very bad. This area isn't my strength (said writing this in jeans, a black and white striped t-shirt, and a black and white herringbone coat), so maybe this is a good challenge for me too! And thank you for the kind words.
i like the idea of brand specific, like COS-best pieces for Spring, etc Stopped buying J Crew years ago as most of their products just seemed so cheaply made How about pieces that can elevate the basics that we all buy
Also, a plug for Tomorrow etc on audible! I kept seeing the book pop up everywhere, but it seemed so damn long, and do I care about gaming? No I do not. The audio book is great! It feels like I’m in Sam and Sadie’s world, which is really fun.
So personally I didn't love the skims one for the bodysuit roundup, though I know other folks do. I was looking for something with less stretch. But I didn't write about that part...which maybe I should?
That J Crew sweater is gorgeous! Unfortunately The Kingdom of Prep doesn’t appear to be available to order in the UK yet (even at the Bezos Emporium), either at its actual title or at my hungry typo title: the Kingdom of Oreo!
I will watch Daisy Jones...but could NOT make it through the book! That format drove me crazy...after paging ahead and realizing the book continued as an interview, I quit. The story is right up my alley though, so I’m pinning my hopes on the show!

see I love a oral history like the book Live From New York about SNL, so I was predisposed to enjoying the book!
I am used to that style of storytelling in documentaries, but reading it on the page is very different to me, and obviously not my cup of tea!
