I'm been singing the praises of Rivals since it debuted. It's such a fun escapist series. I can't wait for season two!

Devoured Rivals. It was everything I didn’t know I needed. AND if you want more Aidan Turner, highly suggest Poldark. Totally different vibe but also SO good.

Bookclub for sure! And on that that note, I am tasked with choosing a book for my IRL bookclub - do you think ‘Where are you, Echo Blue?’ could be a good choice? We might be in the mood for a juicy page turner as we just finished Demon Copperhead which was ADORED but it is a long and intense one. Maybe this would be a fun switch?

This is very fun and very juicy. Just a delight all around and would raise interesting questions around a range of topics! Yes!

I’m watching rivals as we speak! I’m half heartedly reading the book too and I think the show is well done. I very much dislike the casting of Rupert and tony though which is training me off a bit.

One thing I’m struggling with is caring about corinium. It just doesn’t feel so high stakes ? I’m trying but I find it hard to care so much. Luckily the character stories are fun

I don't care that much about the TV station subplot either, but lots about the '80s feels lower stakes to me

Any thoughts on how the hanni stick compares to Olive and June’s heel balm? I need something for my lizard feet!

I love O&J but the Hanni one feels more versatile and a bit creamier.

My husband and I binged Rivals, it was SO good! The outfits, the homes, British humor. My husband's Irish so I'm a sucker for Aidan Turner. We're now watching Say Nothing which is not a comedy but takes place in Ireland in the 1970s.

I LOVED Rivals, such a fun cheeky show! The the music and styling was so well done, and Aidan Turner as Declan was perfection! Already counting the days until season 2.
