I am so glad you agree! I think generally it's somewhat covered by "values," but I I think it's actually deserving of its own shoutout. True for home decor, restaurants, wardrobe, and more. I kept thinking about how stressful it would be to try and decorate a home if you are fundamentally at odds with your partner's feelings about said space? Jon and I don't have the exact same taste (he runs more minimal), but all ladders up into the same universe, and I really appreciate it!

My husband and I admittedly aren't gifting each other anything this year because we are remodeling our house (the gift of all gifts) but I'm definitely bookmarking this list because I'm constantly trying to help my shopaphobic husband fill wardrobe gaps/find good gifts for him - and he's a guitar player so ever better <3 !!! Can this be a quarterly installment?

I once read that women are responsible for like 80% of menswear purchases, as they shop for their significant others etc., which always makes me feel like this category coverage is a little untapped?
I came back to this post to look for an anniversary gift, too! J’s taste is exquisite and even taught me about a new to me heritage PDX brand. I’ve got the double whammy of the Virgo husband’s 40th birthday and our 5th wedding anniversary only two weeks apart and my gifting brain is tapped. I like doing the “traditional” themed anniversary gifts but I usually lose my mojo and default to a bougie candle scented to that theme. To his credit, he loves this… but he deserves something more! Any inspiration would be welcomed!
