I’m Shopping J.Crew’s 60% Off Sale For My Future Self, And You Should Too.

So many good basics on insane sale. Ugh it’s good.

Hi everyone! So weird that I’m in your inbox right now, but there is a reason! But first, some context: Tomorrow morning I’m sending out my big book list for summer 2023, but I had an hour of free time this afternoon and I found myself engrossed in the J.Crew sale. It’s pretty bonkers right now; lots of stuff in full size ranges, many classic and timeless pieces, and tons and tons of products are included. Plus there’s loads of sale options for the whole family; I’m personally stocking up on dresses for my daughter, and wildly reduced swimsuits too. Anyway, didn’t want y’all to miss out, so here you go!

J.Crew Cutout Tie-Back One-Piece Swimsuit ($37.60, originally $118)

You are sick of me yammering on and on about this suit, but the black one is on major sale! What have you been waiting for? She’s good! I have a 4 and a 6 and both are great. The shoulder straps are detachable, if you’re anti tan lines, and the overall fit is just so excellent. Honestly it’s a steal at full price, so this sale price makes it ESSENTIAL. 

J.Crew Long Sleeve Full-Zip Rash Guard ($34, originally $110)

I don’t love suggesting things that are on final sale, but I’m making an exception with this rash guard. It’s an elevated take on the rashie, and I love the minimalist white stitching on the black. If you have kids and sometimes have to go to kids’ birthday parties that involve swimming, I would 11/10 recommend this. It just gives you a little more coverage (and sun protection), which is nice.

Dauphinette x J.Crew Wicker Bag in Red Blooms ($30, originally $98)

Also final sale, but who cares because it’s so damn cute and the price is right. Perfect for any upcoming summer vacations or just warm weather in general? Ugh so adorable. 

J.Crew Cropped Boatneck T-Shirt in Stripe ($34.50, originally $69.50)

She’s cropped, but not in a juvenile way. This classic black-and-white striped shirt is perfect for pairing with your high waisted linen shorts or trousers now, and will work with all your denim come fall. 

J.Crew Oversized Angular Sunglasses ($25.60, originally $79.50)

So I like these sunglasses in Ivory Tort, and I think everyone should have a fun pair of sunglasses for the summer. But if you’re more trad than that, I’m happy to share that the Caramel Tort option is only $8.80. Yes, you read that right. The basic black ones, too.

J.Crew New Seaside Pant in Soft Gauze ($39.49, originally $98)

I love a linen pant for summer, but they wrinkle. And sometimes a plain cotton pull-on style just feels a little too much like a pajama to wear in prime time. So what’s a person to do? I present this soft gauze style for your consideration! I obviously like the black, but it also comes in navy or white, and it’s nicely high waisted and a little cropped. No, it’s not see through, and yes, they’re good for travel, too.

J.Crew Girls’ Ruffle-Sleeve Ladybug Dress ($28, originally $89.50)

If there is a kid in your life who wears dresses, you have to buy this one. I bought it for Wilder when it was on semi-sale earlier in the season, but now at $28 I’m going to buy two bigger sizes for her to grow into. It’s so high quality and adorable. Sprint, don’t walk. 

J.Crew Girls’ Printed Rash Guard One-Piece with UPF 50 ($22.49, originally $59.50)

Of all the suits my daughter has worn, she likes this style from J.Crew the best, and I love it because it means she gets extra sun protection and looks ultra cute. This print is the priciest of the group, but there are four other colors/prints that are even less expensive and also super adorable. I don’t know if you do this too, but I often use sales as an excuse to buy a tried-and-true piece in the next biggest size, and will be doing that with this rash guard suit today.
