7 Memorial Day Weekend Sales That Are Worth Your Money!
Zero shitty sales inside! Plus a special code for Rare Beauty! And a number of my YCOHO pieces that are almost never on sale!
Ahhhhh Memorial Day Weekend is finally here, and I hope that you are enjoying yourselves, wherever you are. Before we get into today’s story—a fully curated round-up of non-shitty sales, because let’s be honest: Most MDW sales are meh—I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who showed up at Godmothers on Thursday to celebrate my friend Daria Burke’s incredible new memoir: Of My Own Making. If you haven’t been to Godmothers, I highly recommend; it’s literally the most incredible and chic bookstore I have been to, and everyone who works there is phenomenal. I would move into the store, if I could. Anyway, I met some really phenomenal women that night, many of whom read this newsletter, which made my heart wildly happy. I always love meeting Hi Everyone readers, and appreciate it when you let me know!
Before we jump into official MDW sales, a major shoutout and exciting news from Rare Beauty. As you have probably gathered due to my extensive coverage, I truly, madly, deeply love the brand and think it’s worth your money and mine. The Rare Beauty team has kindly extended a new offer to Hi Everyone readers, and you can now use the code HILLARY15 to get 15% off orders +$30 from now through May 31st.
My recommendations are as follows: Now with a month-plus’s worth of data in my files, I can give the biggest thumbs up to the brand’s Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush $27), which I have in Hope and Happy and just adore. Do I still like the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($25) that continues to be a viral hit? Yeah of course, but the reason I love the Matte Bouncy Blush is because I find it so insanely easy to use. The Liquid Blush is incredible, but highly pigmented, so there is the tiniest of learning curves, where as the Matte Bouncy Blush can be applied flawlessly by my five-year old. Also on my list: The Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara ($22), which is one of the best mascaras on the market, for my (mascara snobby) money. I also would pick up a Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil ($22), which comes in the most universally flattering colors, gives your lips a subtle tint, and is so moisturizing, it’s crazy.

7 MDW Sales Worth Your Money
My YCOHO go-to hair care brand is having a great Memorial Day Sale, with 20% off when you buy two or more products. If you’re brand-new to Roz, I’d buy The Foundational Shampoo / Conditioner Duo ($72), which work on everyone’s hair, truly. Also essential: The Milk Hair Serum ($52), which I use on myself and my daughter, and a bottle lasts well over a year, even with daily use. It is a heat protectant, smooths frizz on wet or dry hair, and the formula is hydrating and super lightweight. It works on fine, mostly straight hair all the way to thick, curly hair, and the scent is literally heaven. I also love the deep conditioning Foundation Mask ($48) and the award-winning Santa Lucia Styling Oil ($45), which was the first product I fell in love with and still swoon for to this day!
The most dangerous (for me) sale is the up-to 50% sale at Net-A-Porter, especially because Bally’s Leather Boat Shoes (now $582) are 40% off all colors and there are so many sizes available. Sigh. So good. Also: Isabel Marant’s classic Oskan Moon Studded Suede Shoulder Bag (now $594) is a good value at 40% off, and I really like Staud’s Valerie Leather-Trimmed Suede Shoulder Bag (now $210). I was also pleasantly surprised to see one of my most used bags—Valentino’s Vain Glossed Leather Bag (now $2694) is 40% off, even in black, which is crazy. Run, do not walk. The brand’s ‘70s-inspired 9-to-5 Leather Shoulder Bag (now $2460) is also 40% off, which is excellent.
Sorry not sorry, I am sending you to J.Crew anew because it’s so dang good and up to 50% off right now. My favorite pants—the silky Stratus Pants, currently also on sale!, that I always wear on flights—are now available in linen and 20% off. I have the Stratus Pants in Linen (now $94.50) in black in a medium and it’s my favorite linen pant style at the moment. The best midi skirt on the market, the Contrast-Stitch Midi Skirt in Cotton Poplin (now $59.50) is 54% off; I have the navy in a 4 and it’s perfect, but the white is chic too. I also recommend the Cutaway Vest Top in Linen (now $79.50) which is TTS, I have a 6) and is a great version because the back is adjustable, so you can get the perfect fit. The Garcon Classic Shirt in Baird McNutt Irish Linen (now $56.50) is rarely on sale, so this is def the right time to buy. I love that it comes in classic, petite, and tall, and find them true to size also, though I often like to size up and wear in a more relaxed way. This will seem odd, but I love a cotton sweater in the summer for beach nights, and was thrilled the Heritage Cotton Rollneck Sweater (now $69.50) is on sale; I have both the navy/ivory and the white/black versions in a small.
I’ve written about them literally one zillion times, but if you haven’t purchased the Lands End 400 Thread Count Premium Supmia Cotton No Iron Sateen Bed Sheet Set (now $153.96 for a queen-size sheet set; normally $219.95), you need to get on it. Popularized by Annie Meyers-Shyer of @thisoakhouse and her mother Nancy Meyers (yes, the writer/producer/director), I have these sheets on every bed in our house, and bought them for my parents’ house too; that’s how much I love them.
Cadence
I just was discussing my love of Cadence in my college girlfriends group chat, and am happy to remind y’all yet again that this brand is the solution to your travel issues and is having a great sale of up to 20% off through Monday, May 26th (10% off $100, 15% off $185, and 20% off orders of $300). I have several of The Parcel ($65 normally) containers and use them every single time I travel, and love The Small Trio ($45) for foundation, hair serum, and face wash. They don’t leak, and they look chic; what more could you want?
I know I mentioned this last week, but my go-to microdose gummies brand High Confectionary is having a buy two, get one free sale with the code STOCKUP through May 27th. My personal purchases are the Chill Out Sour Lime Gummies ($52), which are 10mg CBG, 5mg CBD, and 1mg THC, and they are very very very baby. I also LOVE the Go To Sleep Gummies ($50), which have 1mg THC, 1mg CBD, 1mg Melatonin, and 1mg CBN. They’re all gentle and trust me when I say you don’t feel zooted, and you wake up feeling great and ready to go, with no hangover.
My beloved Negative rarely has sales, but they have some seasonal pieces at reduced prices right now as part of their last-chance sale. The super soft Baby Long Sleeve T-Shirt (now $83, normally $98) is available in a pretty gray, and the regular Long Sleeve T-Shirt (now $94, normally $110) is available in a darker gray. I’m also excited the brand’s amazing Uniform Crew Tee (now $53, normally $75) is on sale too in white, black, and heather gray.
Okay friends, that’s it for now. If you want to follow me on @hillarykerr, I’d love it. And if you have anything to say or ask (preferably nothing terribly mean), please drop me a note either via DM or in the comments below.

Great recs! I bought the contrast-stich midi skirt (white) and the black silky stratus pants from J. Crew and can't wait to receive! x
For lands end sheets, do you have the douvet cover too?
